City of Yuma
This highly anticipated project furnished the City of Yuma with a state-of-the-art sports complex for regional tournaments and year-round leagues. With six lighted, regulation softball/youth baseball fields (including an extraordinary 325-foot Championship Field), PA systems, digital scoreboards, concession and restroom facilities, and parking for over 900 vehicles on the 49-acre site, Yuma realizes a significant economic impact.
Other amenities at the PAAC consist of park-type facilities including playgrounds, picnic ramadas, walking and biking trails, fishing pond, and maintenance facilities.
H2 represented the City of Yuma with full construction management services. This design-bid-build project was built under a very tight construction timeline to be ready and playable for a Labor Day tournament. H2 supported the owner and led the design/construction team to overcome issues, including complications from a high water table from the adjacent Colorado River, and see the project to a successful, on schedule completion.
