washington elementary school district bond construction program
in november 2010, voters approved a $65 million bond for facility upgrades, site improvements, and a replacement school at lookout mountain elementary school (see project below) for the largest elementary school district in arizona. h2 is providing full project management services including the initial preparation of a comprehensive bond management plan for the nine year program.

this replacement school will accomodate 1,050 students when completed in 2013. the project is comprised of slightly over 90,000 square feet and includes a seperate kindergarten building, two-story classroom building, gym/multi-purpose space, cafeteria/kitchen, and library as well as administrative support spaces. design includes a geothermal system that utilizes 185 wells at approximately 300 feet deep for supplying cooling to the classroom and gym buildings.
h2 has represented the district throughout the design and current construction phases of the project. in addition to assisting the school with facilitating numerous public meetings, h2 worked closely with the architect and cmar to develop a comprehensive project design that resulted in a gmp within the district's budget. h2 staff also performed a thorough document review of the construction documents and is now working closely with the cmar on-site staff during construction.
scottsdale unified school district
h2 assisted scottsdale unified school district with their pre-planning efforts for the 2013 bond program. the scope of work included assessment of 20 elementary schools and two other district facilities comprising a total of 1.5 million square feet. individual project scopes, budgets, and implementation strategies were drafted by h2.
western maricopa education center (west-mec)
h2 has represented the district during the design and construction of a tenant improvement to the cutting edge style academy in phoenix. additional space realized after tenant improvement that will enhance the facility with an upgraded public area and supplemental administrative space when completed in august 2013.

in april 2010, h2 was awarded a contract with west-mec, a public high school district providing career and technical education programs to students from the 12 districts that comprise west-mec. h2 will assist west-mec with project management services as the district determines its needs.
regional public transportation authority (valley metro)
h2 was awarded an on-call consulting services contract with valley metro in 2012 after successfully helping rpta with the east mesa security upgrades project.
douglas unified school district - bond construction program
the school district's $7.43 million bond passed in november 2009. h2 provided full project management services including development of a comprehensive bond management plan at the start of the program. all work was completed in december 2010. h2 provided monthly board reporting, full-time on-site construction observation, overall program scheduling, design document review and construction phase bidding assistance. the scope of work included $3.2 million in district-wide reroofing work, installation of a synthetic turf football field, design and construction of a new stadium fieldhouse at the high school football field and a new multi-purpose building at clawson elementary school.
town of gilbert - fire station no. 10 h2 represented the town of gilbert during the construction phase of their new 11,000 sf fire station. total project cost was under $4m. h2 facilitated construction meetings, documented and reported on project progress, and monitored overall quality of workmanship, schedule, and project cost.
regional public transportation authority (valley metro) - east mesa facility security upgrades
h2 provided full owner representation services to rpta for upgrades at its east mesa facility. services included overall program scheduling, design document review and construction phase bidding assistance.
phoenix union high school district - bioscience high school
h2 preformed design and construction phase project management services for this two part project. the project was valued at just over $2 million and consisted of renovation/restoration of a 1919 historical building to accommodate additional classrooms, research library, technology lab and school administrative offices. in addition, a new building with classrooms and a wet lab facility was built. the project delivery system utilized by the district was construction manager at risk (cmar).
city of avondale - avondale city center
h2 provided constructability and cost review of the project's gmp to the city of avondale for the infrastructure on this project during phase 1 and for the 83,000 sf american sports center in phase 2.
sossaman promenade - mesa, arizona
on behalf of the california developer, h2 bid this four building retail center project. as a result, the developer realized savings of $320,000 (8%) off the amount their year-long cmar process had yielded.
phoenix union high school district - bond construction program
h2 oversaw $45+ million in new building and renovation projects at seven of the district's high schools. all project construction was successfully completed within budget and on schedule.
tapestry on central - phoenix, arizona
this luxury condo complex consists of three 7-story buildings with 280 units, at-grade retail spaces, and a below grade parking level. h2 provided on-site construction management throughout the project until completion.
